Office of Technology Transfer

Inventors

James Madison University's Office of Technology Transfer is eager to work with faculty, staff, and student inventors to help them understand our process of university technology transfer, from preparing for an eventual invention discovery through the commercialization process. See what faculty say about their experiences and results of a spin-off company from JMU created works here.

The Inventors' section offers a variety of resources for prospective and current inventors. The frequently asked question section answers many of the common questions yielded by researchers and inventors alike. Our Office of Technology Transfer values the relationships it holds with its inventors and welcomes any feedback regarding resources that can be added to this section for the users' benefit.

Please feel free to browse this section and refer any questions to bourneml@jmu.edu.
