Freshmen Jump into life at JMU

First Year Summer Springboard kicks off Monday, June 25, when the first group of admitted freshmen arrive at James Madison University for a packed day of orientation activities.

A total of 3,900 first year students will each attend one of a dozen sessions held June 25, 26, 28, 29, July 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12 and 13. During their one-day campus visits, freshmen will meet with academic advisers, register for fall semester classes, learn about campus services and begin their JMU experience.
