Dr. Jennifer Mangan

Dr. Mangan will be teaching in the GSCI 160 series and will be advising IdLS students. Her research interests include student misconceptions about science, and art, history, and literature as indicators of the recent climate record.  She is a native of New Jersey but has lived in many places, including Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Arizona.  She came to Harrisonburg in 2010 from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.  She enjoys hiking, cooking, drawing, and spending time with her daughter.

Dr. Rebecca Brannon

Dr. Brannon holds the Ph.D. from the University of Michigan (2007). Her book, Burying the Hatchet in South Carolina : Healing the Wounds of Revolutionary Civil War, 1775-1860, is under contract to the University of South Carolina Press.
