Duke Dog secondary mark standards

The Duke Dog secondary must be displayed according to these standards.

• The Duke Dog secondary mark shall be legible.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark  is federally registered and must be displayed with the standard registration mark "®."
• The Duke Dog secondary mark shall only be used only by the specific JMU athletics team or athletics organization
  presented in the mark.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark is surrounded by a “clear area.” No type or graphic elements shall overprint, touch or
  appear behind it.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark shall be used in its entirety; no part of the mark shall be shall be used separately.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark letters, proportions and placement of elements shall not be altered.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark shall not be used as a background image so that type or graphic elements overprint it.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark shall not be reversed.
• The Duke Dog secondary mark shall not be used in proximity to the James Madison logo, the Duke Dog logo, the Duke
  Dog mascot mark or the JMU letter mark. Another logo or mark shall not be closer than the total length from left to right
  of the Duke Dog secondary mark.
