Spatial Mapping and Analysis of Crime

     Conservation agencies have always valued spatial data: from paper maps to the resource knowledge stored in an experienced officer’s mind. Typically their agencies are early adopters of Geographic Information Systems to support resource management decisions.

     Unfortunately, use of these powerful systems for spatial crime analysis and prediction typically lags behind.
