New Coming Soon Section Added to HR Website

Anticipating customer needs is a top priority for HR and we've recently added a Coming Soon section to our website. You'll find this section conveniently located just below the Announcements section on the HR home page.

Automated Leave Processing System

Running out of leave cards? Do not place your order for additional cards yet. This spring, employees will be able to request and report leave electronically through J-Ess and supervisors will approve or deny leave requests using Manager Self-service. In response to customer requests, the Information Systems, Payroll and Human Resources teams have worked over the past several months to develop an automated system to process leave requests, reporting and approvals. The rollout of this feature in J-Ess and Manager Self-service should improve the timeliness of employee leave balances displayed in J-Ess. Additionally, this feature should save the university from using over 15,000 leave cards annually supporting the university’s commitment to environmental stewardship. There will be training sessions for both employees and supervisors as the rollout time nears. In the meantime, look for additional communication about this exciting new service.

Visiting the University Services Building

O parking lot, located in front of the USB will be closed for road resurfacing February 27, 2010 to March 14, 2010. All drivers are asked to utilize the Warsaw Avenue Parking Deck.

From March 6-14, 2010 (Spring Break week) the main entrance to the Warsaw Avenue Parking Deck will be closed. Drivers should use the lower entrance by Harrison Street. Pedestrian traffic will still be able to enter/exit through the main entrance, nearest the USB.
