2012 University Holiday Schedule

  • Employee Personal Day* (Taken between 1/10/2012 and 1/9/2013 in full 8-hour increment)
  • January 2 (New Year’s Day)
  • January 16 (Martin Luther King)
  • May 28 (Memorial Day)
  • July 4 (Independence Day)
  • November 21 - 23 (Thanksgiving Holiday)
  • December 21 and 24 – 31 (Christmas Holiday)

*You will have until 1/9/2012 to use the Personal Day that was granted in Calendar Year 2011. The employee Personal Day may be used by full-time Classified and full-time Administrative & Professional and Instructional Faculty.

Eligible employees who work on holidays will be given compensatory time in accordance with leave policies noted in the Classified Employee Handbook.

2013  University Holiday Schedule

  • Employee Personal Day* (Taken between 1/10/13 and 1/09/14 in full 8-hour increment)
  • January 1 (New Year’s Day)
  • January 21 (Martin Luther King)
  • March 8
  • May 27 (Memorial Day)
  • July 4 (Independence Day)
  • November 28 - 29 (Thanksgiving Holiday)
  • December 23 noon  – 31 (Christmas Holiday)

12 Holidays by DHRM Policy; and, includes additional 12 hours awarded by the Governor for 2013 calendar year
