Freshman Honors Scholarships

 

All high school seniors applying to the JMU Honors Program will automatically be considered for the

Madison Achievement Scholarship. 

 

NO ADDITIONAL APPLICATION IS REQUIRED for the Madison Achievement Scholarship.  The scholarship is merit-based and students will be reviewed using their applications for admission to JMU and the JMU Honors Program.

 

All scholarship recipients will receive notification of their award separately from their Honors Program decision letter.  The Scholarship Selection Committee will NOT notify applicants who do not receive a scholarship.


The Madison Achievement Scholarship is the only scholarship offered by the Honors Program for incoming freshmen.  However, scholarships may also be available from other academic departments.
