HONORS UPDATE
March 30, 2007
" Proposals are due today, March 30, from all students taking 499A, the first semester of the Senior Honors Project.
" Finished projects are due April 12 from all students taking 499C and graduating in May 2007.
" April 3: Advance registration for fall begins.
" The annual Honors Program Awards Ceremony will be April 25 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Highland Room of the FestivalCenter.
To all graduating seniors: If you did not come to one of the sessions on formatting this week, you must see Ms. Adams, Dr. Shanahan, or Daniel McDow to review your project prior to April 12. Walk-in appointments are fine, but a scheduled appointment will insure our availability. Any project not conforming to the guidelines given in the handbook will be rejected and may cause your name not to be listed in the graduation program. Individual appointments will address problems that you should correct prior to the due date and help to alleviate an unfortunate situation later. Please check your handbook for issues such as formatting, font size and style, paper weight, approval page and title page, order of sections (p. 13), pagination, margins, new signature page, etc.http://www.jmu.edu/honorsprog/wm_library/SignaturePageFINAL.doc

Turn these in, along with a fourth copy of your project, at the same time you turn in the three required copies. The fourth copy should be packaged separately from the other three and does not need to have a signature page.
I hope your semester is going well! Mary Kay Adams
