Grace serves as a part-time instructor in the ATEP program, helping to teach the Laboratory components of Therapeutic Modalities and Upper and Lower Quarter Evaluation.  Previous to this position, Grace worked as a clinical athletic trainer in the Sports Medicine Department at JMU.  She  joined the James Madison University Sports Medicine Department Staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in August 2004. During her tenure with the Sports Medicine Department, Grace's primary clinical responsibility was with Track and Field, Cross Country and Men's and Women's Tennis. She also provided clinical supervision for Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving. Grace also served as the Athletics Representative for the HOPE (Helping Overcome Problems with Eating and Exercise) Program, a multi-disciplinary team with individuals from a variety of areas on campus.  Grace was routinely a guest lecturer for several core classes within the Athletic Training Education Program and served as the Faculty Advisor for the Undergraduate Athletic Training Club (MATSA).  In addition, Grace served as an Approved Clinical Instructor within the Athletic Training Education Program and provided clinical education and evaluation for the undergraduate athletic training students.

Grace received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in May 2003. She completed her Master's degree in Athletic Training at the University of Virginia in July 2004. While at the University of Virginia Grace was responsible for providing coverage to their nationally ranked Swimming and Diving teams.

Grace and her husband Jerry have a daughter, Maya, who was born in January of 2010.  They reside in Harrisonburg.
