Chris joined the James Madison University Athletic Training Education Program as an interim faculty member in August 2006. In 2007, Chris accepted a position with JMU’s Sports Medicine Department, where he serves as the athletic trainer for the men’s soccer team. Chris continues to assist with classes in the Athletic Training Education Program and serves as an Approved Clinical Instructor.
Chris received his undergraduate degree at California State University Chico in May 1998. He completed his Master's degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia in August 2000.
Chris has worked in several settings during his career. He most recently was the Head Athletic Trainer at Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke VA. Prior to that Chris served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the Virginia Military Institute for four years. While at VMI he served as the Head Football and Men's Lacrosse Athletic Trainer.
Chris and his wife Theresa reside in Broadway with their son Marshall.
