New to our team this year is our team physician, Kent Diduch, M.D. He is a native Virginian who graduated from The College of William and Mary and The University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Diduch is a board certified family physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Diduch serves JMU as an associate professor in the Department of Health Sciences and as the Medical Director for the athletic training and physician assistant academic programs.
Before joining JMU, Dr. Diduch was in private practice in Bridgewater, Virginia for 10 years. During this time he also was a clinical instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at UVA and helped the athletes from Fort Defiance High School and Bridgewater College. When not working, Dr. Diduch likes cycling and spending time with his family. His wife is a professor of economics at Mary Baldwin College. They have one daughter, Emma.
