The Health Policy Collaborative (HPC) office is housed in the School of Nursing, and includes interprofessional faculty and partners.

The mission of the HPC is to engage students, faculty and community in partnerships for health policy advocacy, and the implementation and evaluation of public policies that improve health, work, and quality of life. The HPC educates students, organizations, and the community through interprofessional engagement. It provides an infrastructure for research for practical policy solutions, and provides a platform for experiential learning on advocacy for improved health. Faculty are active in participatory research related to community health policy evaluation and in the legislative policy-making process at local, state, and federal levels.

The HPC partners with local healthcare facilities, community agencies, faculty and students, in developing agenda applications to coordinate research with education and advocacy for improved health outcomes.
