Urgent Care

Urgent Care Clinic is for urgent medical problems.

  • Examples of medical problems seen in this clinic: allergic reactions, cuts that may require stiches, extremity injuries, chest pain, etc.
  • Call ahead or walk in during normal UHC hours (M-F, 8 am - 5 pm, TH 9 am - 5 pm)
  • Patients are evaluated and seen by the Physician based on the severity of their condition.
  • If it is determined that further care at a hospital is needed, transportation options can be arranged. The cost for this service will be determined on the type of transportation required. All fees incurred from services outside of the University Health Center will be assumed by the student.

The Student Health Center does not run an emergency room facility. All emergencies should contact 9-1-1 or seek care at the nearest hospital emergency room. Plan ahead by carrying your health insurance ID card and keeping insurance information
readily available.
