Presentations and Prevention

We can Provide Prevention Presentations

Staff is available to give sexual assault prevention presentations for faculty, staff, and students including classes, residence halls, student organizations, and Greek Life. Presentations educate students on sexual assault myths & facts, resources, and how to help prevent sexual assault before it happens.

Events

We sponsor many events through-out the year to raise awareness & educate about sexual assault prevention. Please see our calendar of events for a list of upcoming programming.

Passport Events

SWO also co-sponsors many passport events. If you or a group you are involved in has a presentation developed for students that you would like to make into a passport event, contact the office for details.

Resource Library

We house a resource library with books and brochures on sexual assault available for check-out to all JMU students. These resources are available if you are giving a class presentation, or looking for information on how to help a friend or yourself.
