
Allergy injections are available by appointment Monday through Friday during the following hours:
8-11a.m. and 1-4p.m.
You will need to call the JMU Health Center Allergy Clinic at 540.568.2978 to make an appointment.
All new students receiving allergy injections are required to make an allergy appointment with the allergy nurse before injections are given. New students using the allergy clinic will receive instructions as part of their allergy consultation appointment.
You must bring your allergy vials and complete instructions with you. University Health Center will store and administer your vaccines according to your allergist's instructions. There is a fee to administer allergy injections.
Incoming freshman can drop off their vials and instructions, without an appointment, during orientation week in August. However, NO shots will be given that week.

James Madison University Health Center offers an allergy injection service for students receiving immunotherapy ordered by an allergist. Registered nurses who are available to administer injections coordinate the clinic and will consult with your allergist as indicated. To utilize this service, please follow these steps. If you have questions, you may call 540.568.2978 to speak with an allergy nurse.
Fees for allergy injections will be collected at EACH VISIT, and can be paid by cash, check, Flex, Visa or Master Card. Fees are as follows:

| Multiple (3) Injections | $20/visit |
| Multiple (4+) Injections | $25/visit |
The JMU Health Center does NOT bill any insurance. A receipt will be given at each visit for insurance reimbursement.
Any diagnosis codes required by insurance must be obtained from your allergist.
