SHAC

Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is a student organization that serves as a liaison between the University Health Center and the JMU student body. Students involved with SHAC are able to be the student voice for Health Center operations, and assist in making its services student-focused as possible. There are many benefits in becoming a member of SHAC:

  • Gives you, your peers, and/or your organization a voice in Health Center operations
  • Great resume builder, especially for students seeking a career in healthcare
  • Help shape programs and services that have direct impact on JMU students
If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please contact our student organizer, Beau Dooley.
