Transcripts of all previous academic work at the undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) level.
Applicants must upload unofficial copies of their transcripts and if admitted, all transcripts will be verified by the Graduate School. Applicants who previously attended James Madison University still need to upload an unofficial transcript, but do not need to provide official transcripts for verification.

- Brief career goals essay (750-1200 words) describing the influences that have led you to consider school psychology as a career and why you believe JMU is the place for you to receive your training
- Three letters recommendation
Students who are selected for an interview will be invited to campus for a required day-long interview to be held in late February or early March.All of the above listed requirements can/should be uploaded within the online application, and test scores should be sent electronically to the Graduate School from the Educational Testing Service.
