Adult Education and Human Resource Development
The Adult Education and Human Resource Development program accepts applications on a rolling basis. Completed applications should be received at least 6 weeks prior to the start of the semester in which the applicant intends to enroll.

Transcripts of all previous academic work at the undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) level.
Applicants must upload unofficial copies of their transcripts and if admitted, all transcripts will be verified by the Graduate School. Applicants who previously attended James Madison University still need to upload an unofficial transcript, but do not need to provide official transcripts for verification.
Required by Program
- A current resume
- Two letters of recommendation
- Two-to-three page essay explaining why you are pursuing a Masters in AHRD
- NEW beginning spring 2015 - Video - Upload a video answering the following question - Why would you like to be in the program? Please explain how it will help you achieve your career goals. (Maximum time limit is 5 minutes.)
All of the above listed requirements can/should be uploaded within the online application, and test scores should be sent electronically to the Graduate School from the Educational Testing Service.
