HONOR CODE NOTICE: All incoming JMU students, including graduate students, are required to watch a web-video containing information about the JMU Honor Code. Students must then take a web-based test on the material at their convenience from any location. The test must be completed by the end of the student's first semester at JMU. The Honor Code Tutorial video, test information, and test are available at http://www.jmu.edu/honor/test.shtml.

Students with documented disabilities that impact learning may contact the Office of Disability Services for assistance (http://www.jmu.edu/ods/).

Justine Schembri, a May 2011 graduate of the ISAT-Malta program is selected to receive the 2012 CSGS (Conference of Southern Graduate Schools*) Master's Thesis Award in Life Sciences.

Jason Kopp, a doctoral student in the Assessment and Measurement Ph.D. program, and graduate of the Psychological Sciences master's program, is selected to receive the 2012 CSGS Master's Thesis Award in Social Sciences, Business and Education.  Read more...

Dr. Sarah Finney, with the Center for Assessment and Research Studes and the Ph.D. progra in Assessment and Measurement is selected to receive the 2012 CSGS Outstanding Mentor Award for her work with master's and doctoral students at JMU.

  Spring 2012

January 27- last day to withdraw from the university with cancellation of tuition and refund

January 20  - last day to submit an application to graduate in May

April 18 - comprehensive assessment results and thesis/research project/dissertation due to The Graduate School

April 27  - last day of classes

May 4 - Course completion deadline for December graduation

Summer 2012

June 1  - last day to submit an application to graduate in August

July 6 - comprehensive assessment results and thesis/research project/dissertation due to The Graduate School

August 3 - Course completion deadline for December graduation
