AFTER YOUR HAVE ACCEPTED YOUR OFFER OF ADMISSION

  • Check your “To-Do” list on MyMadison. Note: You will use the same e-ID that was used for your application status to log-in. For assistance with your e-ID, visit the computing helpdesk.
  • Complete Immunization Form. Virginia state law (§ 23-7.5. Health histories required; immunizations) requires anyone entering a college or university to present a certificate of immunization/health history that documents compliance with all required immunizations.   • Check your Dukes email account. Ensure that you have proper access to your Dukes e-mail account:

Register for classes. After reviewing your program’s curriculum and requirements, ensure that you have registered for classes through MyMadison. Course registration is a very department- specific process. Depending on the department, you may need to register for classes soon after you receive your e-ID and password or you may need to wait until the start of the semester in August. Please contact your graduate department directly for assistance with course registration.
