M.Ed. program is currently not accepting new students. The MAT program is currently not accepting post-baccalaureate students in the licensure areas of History and Social Science or English. |

Test
Requirements: |
|
The test requirement for the MAT for current JMU undergraduate students who are completing the Secondary Education Pre-professional undergraduate program, is passing Praxis II scores submitted to the Education Support Center office prior to beginning more than 12 hours of MAT graduate course work. The test requirement for the MAT for post-baccalaureate students, is the GRE and passing Praxis II scores must also be submitted to the Education Support Center office prior to enrolling in MAT graduate course work.

Current JMU undergraduate applicants should have an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or above.
Post-baccalaureate applicants should have an undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or above.
