International Week (I-Week)

I-Week, held the last full week in September, commemorates the cultural diversity at JMU. We invite the local community of Harrisonburg, also rich in many languages and cultures, and the JMU community to participate in programs and events to celebrate our rich cultural identities. JMU faculty, staff and students are invited to submit event proposals, and are encouraged to participate in the many activities.

International Student Leadership Conference (ISLC)

The International Student Leadership Conference is hosted by James Madison University and Eastern Mennonite University. This weekend long conference focuses on leadership development of international and global minded student. The conference hosts over 250 participants from 65 countries and 23 institutions. JMU students are invited to attend this exciting conference. 

Global X

Global X is a cross-cultural mentorship program that pairs new international students with returning students who are ready to introduce their new mentees to the many resources, activities, and events that JMU has to offer!
