Research Interests
Current research projects:
1) Development of digital mapping techniques and 3D and 4D visualizations, and their incorporation into field geology curricula (funded by NSF EAR/IF)
2) Bedrock mapping of the Blue Ridge - Valley and Ridge transition, with special focus on the Stanley fault in Page Valley (funded by EDMAP and STATEMAP)
3) Estimating the growth rate of continental crust, including compilation of a new basement map of North America
