Research Interests

My research investigates interactions between the hydrosphere and lithosphere using geochemical techniques. Current projects include: linking the explosive history and magmatic water content of volcanoes, using the crystal chemistry of rutile to trace fluid and oxidation state history in subduction zones and the ancient crust, and evaluating the origin of layering in Mn oxide stream deposits.
