Procedure For Reviewing Posting On The JMU Curriculum Web Site

All faculty at the university have access to the Curriculum web site at the following address: https://secureweb.jmu.edu/curric. Once on the web site, click on General Education or any other college to read proposals currently under review (see page 19). To review postings that have been approved at the General Education Council level, select Approved Proposals. After the General Education Council and the Dean approve a proposal, it moves from the General Education listing to the Approved Proposals listing on the web site. Proposals are posted for a 15 class days of review by the University community. At the end of this period, the cluster proposal is deleted from this Approved Proposals listing and a hard copy of the proposal is forwarded to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for final review.
