Cave Canem is committed to the discovery and cultivation of new voices in African American poetry.

Dream in Color: Explore African American Heritage 

With "Dream in Color," teachers and students commemorate Black History Month with free grade-appropriate lesson plans and related resources designed to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds. Furious Flower Poetry Center helped to create this program in partnership with Target and the Smithsonian Institution.
