JMU - Children's Poetry Camp
The staff of the Furious Flower Poetry Center would like to express our genuine appreciation to the children, the families, the camp staff, and the sponsors who were part of the 7th Annual Children's Poetry Camp held between August 1st and 5th, 2011 at James Madison University's Memorial Hall. The Poetry Camp had eighty campers, seven teachers, and twenty-two counselors who came together to explore the process of creativity through written word, music, dance, drama, and art. We hope that the children will use their workshop experiences to enrich all of their creative endeavors throughout the year and to remember the influence of a pebble in a pond!
We look forward to seeing everyone at camp next year!
