Alpha Epsilon Delta                                                          The Premedical Honor Society Welcome to James Madison University's Pre-Health web page.  The premedical society is dedicated to the advancement of the University's broad range of academic pursuits.  We encourage our members to be active participants in our community and the pursuit of academic excellence. AED offers weekly meetings where students and professors are given the opportunity to meet speakers that are in various medical professions, admission officers from potential professional schools, and former students  that are presently enrolled in a professional school. AED also distributes a biweekly newsletter entitled "The Vital Sign."  This publication contains information regarding upcoming events, news from JMU's Office of Premedical Studies, the latest in medical advances, and admissions to professional schools.
