Dear Donor,

The 2015-16 JMU Foundation Annual Report offers you an overview of foundation activity, facts and figures, as well as the impact of your giving, for the past fiscal year. Through this activity you can see how the foundation stewards your gifts to support James Madison University.

JMU’s endowment has grown from less than $50 million six years ago to $80 million today, while total JMU Foundation assets grew from less than $80 million to almost $124 million during the same time period.

JMU’s endowment trajectory, driven by groundbreaking years of philanthropic giving on the part of our donors and conscientious investment by the foundation, puts the endowment on pace to reach $100 million by 2019. As the champion for the university’s endowment, the foundation has set that goal to coincide with the 50th anniversary of our founding.
