It is after the collapse of a repressive regime, and Paulina lives in an isolated country house with her husband, Gerardo Escobar, after having spent time as a political prisoner. Paulina is convinced that Dr. Miranda, a new friend to Gerardo, supervised her prison torture sessions—so ties him to a chair and conducts her own interrogation, gun in hand.
