"Metheny is one of the most industrious creative engines in jazz ..."
The New York Times

One of the brightest stars of the jazz community, Pat Metheny is a 20-time Grammy-winning guitarist whose versatility is nearly without peer on any instrument. The youngest member and only fourth guitarist inducted into the Down Beat Hall of Fame in 2013, Metheny has also won 3 Gold Records for his albums, Secret Story, Still Life (Talking) and Letter from Home. His 42 recordings have sold 20 million records worldwide. With a trademark playing style described as “loose and flexible with an advanced harmonic sensibility,” Metheny has performed with artists from Herbie Hancock to David Bowie in a body of work that includes compositions for solo guitar, small ensembles, electric and acoustic instruments, large orchestras, and ballet pieces in settings ranging from modern jazz to rock to classical. Metheny will present a wide range of music from his storied 40-year career with Grammy-winning drummer Antonio Sanchez, bassist Linda Oh and British pianist Gwilym Simcock. www.patmetheny.com
