Sarunas Jankauskas will perform an eclectic and exciting program of works by Marquez (Mexico), Chen Yi (China/USA), American composers Muhly and Greene, as well as Frenchmen Ghidoni and Chausson. He will be joined by JMU faculty marimbist Casey Cangelosi, and pianist Johan Botes, who serves on the faculty of Marshall University. 

Lithuanian-born clarinetist Sarunas Jankauskas is a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, and contemporary music artist whose playing has been praised for its “exotic flair” and “smooth and seductive delicacy.” He has performed throughout the United States and Europe, appearing as a concerto soloist with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, Round Rock Symphony, and Texas Festival Orchestra.
