Mark Strandquist is an artist, activist and educator who uses art as a vehicle for connecting diverse communities to build empathy and support for social justice movements. This exhibition highlights his Windows from Prison project, which involves images produced for prisoners by students, former prisoners, artists and activists, to spark dialogue and action around criminal justice issues. The project has garnered international media attention in outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and PBS Newshour.
