“A quiet delight ... brought to memorable life.”

Los Angeles Times

Now in its 36th season, Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia ranks among North America’s most respected creators of family entertainment, having delighted close to four million spectators on four continents with its unique adaptations of children’s literature. This live production includes the wonderful story of the metamorphosis of The Very Hungry Caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly, the fanciful account of the travels of Little Cloud through the sky, and the discovery by the Mixed-Up Chameleon of his own unique nature. Directed and designed by Jim Morrow, one of Canada’s most esteemed puppetry creators, the show features evocative original music by Nova Scotian composer Steven Naylor and innovative “black light” staging techniques, which highlight the stunning puppets and props.

A Forbes Family Fun event.
