Chris Cornelius, an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, focuses his work on the architectural translation of culture. He is the founding principal of studio:indigenous, a practice that creates design solutions for American Indian clients. Cornelius, who both attended graduate school and has taught at the University of Virginia, was awarded an Artist-in-Residence Fellowship from the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institution, where he created a visual translation of the Oneida cosmology. www.studioindigenous.com
