Experience this one-of-a-kind musical extravaganza with music from your favorite movies and musicals! JMU’s Brass Band will dazzle audiences with music from Riverdance and a medley of James Bond themes. John Williams’ unforgettable Star Wars Suite, performed by JMU’s Symphony Orchestra, is sure to have audiences cheering. The Symphony Orchestra will join JMU’s Madison Singers and Chorale to perform songs from the much-loved musical Les Miserables. For the finale, the Marching Royal Dukes will blow the roof off the Convocation Center with music from George Gershwin including “I Got Rhythm” from the musical Girl Crazy, plus “Summertime” and “Rhapsody in Blue” from the opera Porgy and Bess. Don’t miss one of JMU’s favorite Family Weekend traditions that is great entertainment for all ages!
