"...a great storyteller."
The Phildelphia Inquirer

Really Inventive Stuff actors Michael Boudewyns and Sara Valentine have packed their trunk full of fun surprises for the whole family as they return to the Forbes Center for performances of Jean de Brunhoff's The Story of Babar, Mozart's Toy Symphony, and Rossini's Duet for Two Cats, accompanied by musical guests. Eloquently set to music by Francis Poulenc, de Brunhoff's popular children's story about one little elephant's rise from rags to riches is expressively reimagined with all the enthusiasm and pomp worthy of a royal gathering. Long live King Babar! An audience favorite from last season, Mozart's Toy Symphony comes to life as Professor Tympanium von Hammer zee Trumpeterclanger, the Austrian sound scientist, travels the world with his amazing musical laboratory and invites you to sing along.  Rounding out the program is Rossini's humorous Duet for Two Cats featuring the JMU Opera Theater. Really Inventive Stuff has performed with major national and international orchestras, delighting audiences of all ages with its whimsical theatrical performances and playful characters.www.reallyinventivestuff.com.
