Many scholarships require both academic merit and financial need:
To receive consideration for need-based scholarships, interested students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in addition to this application.  The first day you can submit your 2010‑11 FAFSA is January 1, 2010, but you must file by March 1, 2010 to receive priority consideration for need-based assistance.

Note:  Current recipients of renewable scholarships may receive renewal consideration without submitting a new application.

Notification of Applicants
Scholarship recipients will receive notification of their selection during the month of July for the upcoming academic year.  All applicants will receive a response from the financial aid office.

Departmental Scholarships
Some departments and colleges have scholarships to award as well.  Contact the department of your major for more information.
