- The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia Blog is an online resource for students and parents who are seeking information about federal and state financial aid.
- The 2008-09 FAFSA is available. Apply now to ensure that the Department of Education receives your FAFSA by March 1st. Your receipt of state grant funds may depend on filing your FAFSA early. If necessary, you may estimate your income and make corrections later.
- Students will be notified of their financial aid awards through their JMU email account. Once you have received your financial aid award email notice, please follow these instructions to accept the Stafford and Plus Loans.

- For information on tuition and fee rates for the 2007-2008 year, please go to the University Business Office web site at www.jmu.edu/ubo
- In order to receive financial aid, you must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress(SAP). You can review the requirements to ensure your eligiblity to receive financial aid at JMU.
