VI.B. Bylaws of the Faculty Senate
Article I: Purpose and Functions
Section 1.
The Faculty Senate shall seek to create, maintain, and protect a university environment conducive to the growth of scholarship, learning, teaching, research, service, and respect for human dignity and rights.
Section 2.
The Senate shall elect or nominate individuals to represent the interests of the entire instructional faculty to University committees or other such bodies as shall require representation.
