Transportation is dedicated to providing quality customer service to the university community through the management of vehicle rentals, vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance, travel requests, purchase of new vehicles through a comprehensive and sustainable program. The Transportation department is managed through three primary areas of responsibility: Motor Pool (travel and scheduling), Repair and Maintenance of departmental owned vehicles and equipment, and an Alternative Fuel Program.

Request a Vehicle

Training must be completed before you can request a vehicle. Training can be requested through MyMadison. Once you have attended training, login to AiM to request a vehicle. You will have to print out the signature page and have it signed by someone with signature authority on the account to be charged for the vehicle. The signed form is then sent to the transpotation office before you can pick up the vehicle. The signed form and a valid drivers license are required to pick up the vehicle. The use of state vehicles is regulated by policy #4303.
