About the Center for Faculty Innovation
The mission of the JMU Center for Faculty Innovation (CFI) is derived from the belief that faculty innovation and excellence are an ongoing interplay of teaching, scholarship, service, and leadership. The CFI is faculty-driven and dedicated to providing support for faculty in their multidimensional roles. It is a demonstration of JMU’s commitment to a valuable campus resource, the faculty. The Center will provide a range of carefully designed services to meet the needs of educators at various stages of their careers and, whenever possible, Center activities will be collaboratively co-sponsored with other campus units or services. CFI welcomes requests of need from the JMU teaching community.
