IVS Spring Colloquium

Wed, 23 Mar 2016 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Location: Roop 208

The second of three spring colloquia at the Institute for Visual Studies will take place on Wednesday, March 23rd from 12:00-1:00 in Roop 208. Dr. Vanessa Rouillon (WRTC) will discuss her collaboration with JMU Library's Special Collections. She introduces her first-year students to rhetorical visions, and trains them to research the university's history using archival texts and historical records. Her presentation and the discussion that follows will consider how these pedagogical practices impact students' identities and their duties as citizens.

Bring your lunch; dessert and coffee will be served.

All are welcome.
