Ethical Reasoning, Sustainability, and Mountains Beyond Mountains
Tue, 4 Feb 2014 1:00 PM - 2:30 PMFestival Conference and Student Center, Highlands Room
Facilitators from The Madison Collaborative: Ethical Reasoning in Action will engage participants in an experience that illustrates the complexities of making decisions in difficult ethical situations. Drawing from scenarios in the book Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, a Man Who Would Cure the World, participants will apply Eight Key Questions for ethical reasoning to complicated situations and also see how the environmental, economic, and social aspects of the situation are often inextricably connected. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register for the event. Space is limited.
This event is organized by The Madison Collaborative and is part of a larger programming schedule for A Book for the 'Burg, a new community reading experience. The event is free of charge, open to the public, and does not require participants to have read the book.
