Wed, 16 Oct 2013 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM
This American Heart Association course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. It teaches the ability to recognize and respond to several life-threatening emergencies including: rescue breathing, relieving choking, one and two rescuer CPR, and use an AED on adult/child/infants.
Register at UREC with $60 FLEX by 4pm the Friday before the program begins. Registered participants must arrive early for any of the Red Cross Courses that you register for (10 to 15 minutes is recommended). If you arrive later than the scheduled start time, you will not be permitted entry into the class and will not be eligible to receive a refund.
Please note these programs are for current JMU students, faculty, staff members, and affiliates only.
