Disc Golf Course Tee-Off Event

Join UREC and the JMU Disc Golf Club on Thursday, April 4 from 4-5pm to learn about the sport of Disc Golf and engage in some friendly competition on the new course!
Get basic instruction on how to drive and putt, and then participate in up to three challenges (Longest Drive, Putting Contest, Closest to the Basket) to win your very own Innova Disc Golf 3-Disc Set and bag. Pizza will be provided for participants and all are welcome to stay after the event to play a few holes or the whole course.
The event will begin at the University Park Disc Golf Course practice basket. Visit www.hdpt.com/ to locate a bus route from your location. If walking, biking, or driving, travel up Port Republic Road from JMU and turn left on Devon Lane. At the end of Devon lane, you will see the UREC Gatehouse. Circle the cul-de-sac and turn right onto the road that leads to the two large parking lots at the top of the hill. The entrance to the Disc Golf Course is located on the cul-de-sac.
All attendees are encouraged to register online up to 24 hours before the event (however, it is not required unless you are a student seeking Wellness Passport credit).
