LGBT and Ally Education Program

Out on Campus Dialogue

Wed, 4 Apr 2018 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Madison Union Ballroom

Join the LGBTQ & Ally Education Program in a dialogue about what it means to be “out” on campus.  A panel of peer educators will discuss the ways their LGBTQ+ identities impact their life on JMUs campus.  Following the panel, peer educators will sit in with participants in small groups and facilitate a discussion surrounding several scenarios related to their identities. Open to students and faculty, the event focuses on working through common ways we encounter LGBTQ+ identities and what it means to relate in to the people who hold them.

This event satisfies the social/cultural dimension of the Wellness Passport.
