Harrisonburg Then and Now: Photographing the Friendly City in the 1940s and Today

Tue, 11 Sep 2018 11:00 AM - Fri, 9 Nov 2018 1:00 PM

This exhibition is drawn from two image collections, one by local photographer Lupton Kaylor in the mid-twentieth century, now in the Harrisonburg Rockingham Historical Society; the other generated by community members last year for the Many Voices of Harrisonburg, a project that seeks to highlight the city’s rich cultural diversity. This exhibition will be on view from September 11-November 9. The opening reception is on September 11 from 11am-1pm in Roop Hall, room 208.
