Free HIV Testing
Wed, 4 Dec 2013 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Dec. 4 | 9:30am-2pm | Warren Hall's Transitions Room
Madison HIV/AIDS Alliance and AIDS Services Group are collaborating to provide the JMU community with free HIV testing on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 9:30-2:00 in Transitions (located in Warren Hall). Madison HIV/AIDS Alliance will be holding this event in recognition of World AIDS Day, which occurred Dec. 1.
It is important to take a stand and know your status to help stop the spread of HIV. HIV began one person at a time and it will end one person at a time! Two testing options will be available and your test results will be ready within 15-20 minutes of having the test completed. This event will also include additional information about HIV and how to practice safe sex.
Free condoms will be available. Campus Cookies will also provide free cookies for those who participate in testing. So bring your friends, get smart, get tested, and know your status!
If you are unable to attend the Dec. 4 testing event, there will be another event held on Feb. 13 during Madison HIV/AIDs Alliance Awareness Week. Or visit the JMU Health Center to get tested for a fee of $5.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information about this event.
